SMK Negeri 1 Mojosongo telah berdiri sejak Tahun 1979 dengan nama SMT Pertanian Boyolali, sampai saat ini telah meluluskan 6.046 siswa yang telah bekerja di berbagai sektor.Berdasarkan Keputusan Mendiknas Nomor : 1871/C5.3/PP/2002 tanggal 16 September 2002 tentang sebagai Sekolah Berstandar Nasional dan Tahun 2006 telah menerapkan Sistem Manajemen Mutu ISO 9001 : 2000 secara penuh selanjutnya berdasarkan Keputusan Direktur Pembinaan SMK Nomor : 2835 / C5.4 / MN / 2006, Tanggal 2 Oktober 2006 tentang Persiapan SMK Sekolah Bertaraf Internasional ( SBI )Mojosongo Vocational High School was founded in 1979 and named “SMT Pertanian Boyolali ”.It has produced 6046 graduated and those graduates have worked in many kinds of work sectors.Based on decree of the National Education Minister, number 1871/C5.3/PP/2002 issued on September 16 2002 concerning about the National Standard School 2006, SMK Negeri 1 Mojosongo has fully applied the Quality Management System of ISO 9001-2000 and based on the National decree of the Board Director of SMK. number 2835/C5.4/MN/2006 issued on October 2, 2006 concerning about the Preparation of International Standard School (SBI)

MISI SMK N 1 MOJOSONGO
- Menumbuh kembangkan sikap mental dan moral yang dilandasi Penguasaan Iptek dan Imtaq.
- Menumbuhkembangkan semangat keunggulan yang kompetitif dan komparatif.
- Melaksanakan Pendidikan dan Latihan yang berorientasi pada pencapaian kompetensi berstandar nasional dengan pendekatan pembelajaran berbasis kompetensi (CBT) dan berbasis produksi (PBT)
- Mengembangkan dan menjalin kerjasama (Net working) dengan semua pihak (Lembaga, dunia usaha, dunia industri, Lembaga Sertifikasi dan Asosiasi Profesi) yang berkualifikasi nasional/ Internasional
- Menerapkan Sistem Manajemen Mutu (ISO 9001 : 2008) dalam penyelenggaraan pendidikan dan latihan.
- Memberdayakan potensi sekolah dalam mewujudkan pelayanan prima kebutuhan pendidikan dan latihan serta bagi masyarakat
- Meningkatkan produk unggulan daerah Boyolali, sehingga memberikan kontribusi terhadap pelaksanaan otonomi daerah.

- Apply the Quality Management System ISO 9001 – 2008 in conducting the education and training.
- Occupy all school potencies in realizing the prime service of the need of education and training for the community.
- Improve the prime product of Boyolali regency, in order to contribute to the implementation of Area Autonomy.

Serta memberdayakan potensi yang dilandasi Iman dan Taqwa untuk menumbuh kembangkan semangat keunggulan., profesionalisme kerja agar dapat memberikan pelayanan prima dan menyiapkan tamatan sesuai tuntutan serta kepuasan pelanggan.
SMK Negeri 1 Mojosongo is committed to apply the Quality Management System ISO 9001 – 2000 by optimalising the education and training through competency, production, and entrepreneurship based training orienting on the life-skills and improve the net working with institutions, industries, and occupy all potencies based on the religious faith to develop the spirit of supremacy, professionalism in order to give its prime service and to prepare the graduates to meet the demand and the customer satisfaction.
